The recent good news Guinness World Records on Thursday honoured Indian math genius, Shakuntala Devi, with the long-overdue record title for 'fastest human computation', four decades after she achieved the feat.

With reference to the report Indian Premier League 2020 set to begin on September 19 (July 24): this was such good news for cricket fans who will be delighted after a long wait. Wonderful that so many talented batsmen and bowlers will get to play in the UAE in a little over a month, after much speculation by the Indian Cricket Board. Hopefully by September the pandemic will have receded and sports fans will not only enjoy the match but also get in a bit of tourism – the famous locations of UAE, from the malls to desert safaris.

Today i am going to pen another interesting personality from the Tamil Literary World is none other than Late Writer Vasumathy Ramaswamy.After her young age marriage she came to south Indian famous City Madurai with her in law 's place  and developed liking for reading habit.Since herfather in law was   more attracted with the good old party Congress along with him She attended many meetings and interacted with his Lawyer friends and developed more reading  habit.The reading habit made her in the later stage to write stories  and,novels.Her first short story published in the famous tamil magazine Jagan Mohini and the editor Kothai Nayaki Ammal  was impressed with her story.Later she started writtingAnanda vikatan,Kalki and other magazines.Apart from her social services  she started writing in her leisure time encouraged by her husband  should be mentioned here.Kalki magazine also gave a good fame for Deviin  Kadithangal  written by this author.She met Gandhiji   and was  admired his social service to backward people and started doing service to all type of people irrespective of caste creed  is laudable.I have read few short stories of this author viz Parvathiin Ninaivil .Her creations are with social messages  through her storiesand ,drama.Her story was selected by the late stalwart Akilan and bestowed award for her.Writer,Social service minded,Novelist and above all good human is no more with us.But her wonderful creations are in front of us.Recently her  100 th B.Day  celebration was celebrated by her family members and fans speaks about the quality and her image.Today i am very happy to tribute this late  amazing lady.I have written to my little knowledge this column if any error found  should be ignored.

Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from the South Indian Film Industry is none other than Editor Raja Mohammad.The Award winning Editor worked both Tamil and Malayalam films and created his own identity.He has worked with more than thirty five films both Tamil and Malayalam with all the leading actors,Technicians and Directors.He got award for Paruthiveeran,and Subramaniapuram for the best editing fromThe National Film Award and Vijay award respectively.His first tamil movie wasProduced by  Kamal Hassan' Nala Damayanthi.The stars Madhavan,GeethuMohan das ,Anuhasan,Sriman  gave a good name not only for the actors and other technicians including the first venture for editor Raja Mohammad.Siddarth pleasing cinematography and nice direction of Mouli was another attraction.After that he has edited many Tamil movies.I have seen few films of this Editor.Those films are,Nala Damayanthi,Raam,Paruthiveeran,Subramaniyapuram,Irumbukottai singam,Kala vaani.Mandira Punnagai,Bramman,Mounaguru and few i could n't recollect.He was associated with the upcoming Director M.Sasikumar for few films.In Indian Film Industry we have talented technicians of Cinematographers and Editors are spreaded is true.Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Editor.

Today i remembered another interesting personality from the Tamil Literary World is none other than late Vaduvur Duraisamy iyengar.He is one of the revolutionary writers decades back if my memory is right eight decades back.His journal Manoranjini  was to promote about the importance of Women's education in those days was very much laudable.He is known for his detective subjects  and his CharacterDigambara samiar created a big impact in those days with his thousands of readers.His fiction novels made film as Menaka and made a big hit.I have read his story  KumbakonamVakil.Even though he has departed in1942 his deductive fictions are in front of us.He is one of the genius writers whwa known for his great imaginary  character Digambara samiar.Writing deductive novels is not a easy task and he has created a big change no one can deny.Today i am very happy to tribute this great Legend still remembered by thousands of his readers.

The demise of 71-year-old choreographer Saroj khan is a great loss for the Mumbai film industry ( “Saroj Khan death: Bollywood choreographer often courted controversy”, Gulf News, June 03). Liked by one and all from the film fraternity, and she had her own identity for many memorable movies like Mr India, Kal Nayak, Soldier, Pardes and many.
