Tribute to LateWriter VasumathyRamaswamy 619.

Today i am going to pen another interesting personality from the Tamil Literary World is none other than Late Writer Vasumathy Ramaswamy.After her young age marriage she came to south Indian famous City Madurai with her in law 's place  and developed liking for reading habit.Since herfather in law was   more attracted with the good old party Congress along with him She attended many meetings and interacted with his Lawyer friends and developed more reading  habit.The reading habit made her in the later stage to write stories  and,novels.Her first short story published in the famous tamil magazine Jagan Mohini and the editor Kothai Nayaki Ammal  was impressed with her story.Later she started writtingAnanda vikatan,Kalki and other magazines.Apart from her social services  she started writing in her leisure time encouraged by her husband  should be mentioned here.Kalki magazine also gave a good fame for Deviin  Kadithangal  written by this author.She met Gandhiji   and was  admired his social service to backward people and started doing service to all type of people irrespective of caste creed  is laudable.I have read few short stories of this author viz Parvathiin Ninaivil .Her creations are with social messages  through her storiesand ,drama.Her story was selected by the late stalwart Akilan and bestowed award for her.Writer,Social service minded,Novelist and above all good human is no more with us.But her wonderful creations are in front of us.Recently her  100 th B.Day  celebration was celebrated by her family members and fans speaks about the quality and her image.Today i am very happy to tribute this late  amazing lady.I have written to my little knowledge this column if any error found  should be ignored.
