With reference to Rebecca Bundhun's report Covid-19 is jeopardising the education of millions in India, widening the rich-poor divide (September 27): Ms Bundhun rightly points out that with Covid-19 cases on the rise in India – almost 6 million cases – it could be a long time before pupils can even think of going back to classrooms.

As she has rightly mentioned, and sadly so, millions of children cannot afford to study online because of the lack of internet or smart devices. Many of them depend on a regular school attendance to learn. Let's hope things improve in the coming months.

 12 day IPL T20match between RR and KKR and KKR was allowed to bat by RR.since they won the toss.At the end of 6 th over KKR scored 42 runs with 1 wicket of Narine .Gill and Rana played very well and dismissed when the score came to 89 for 3 wickets at 11.1over and at the end 174 for 6 wickets KKR la nded with Morgon 's fast score.RR started batting and recorded only 137 for 9 wickets lost by 37 runs was the dramatic development in the Dubai international stadium on 30Sep.Despite RR 'Sgood batsmen SanjuSamson,Smith ,Uthappa they losst was sad.How ever KKR played very well both in batting and fielding.Kudos to KKR Skipper and his men.

 11 day play between DC and SRH and SRH started the innings even though DC won the toss chose to bowl.Openers Warner and Bairstow brought the score to 77 when Warner was dismissed with 45.Good start from the openers.Williamson Warner and Bairstow are the players contributed maximum score and brought the total runs 162 for 4 wickets was not a bad score.DC chased to win but could not.Despite Shikar Dhawan,Pant,Shreyas Iyer able to touch 147 only was sad.With lowest score in this match SRH won with 15runs is laudable.SRH mase the first victory entry in the IPL Tournament wa nice.Kudos to SRH Skipper and his men.

 10 th day IPL T20 match between MI and RCB played at Dubai.MI won the toss and elected to bowl and RCB openers Padikkal and Finch brought the score to 67 in 7.2 overs and Finch crossed 50 despite a minor hurt by his bat is appreciable.Finch was out for 52 valuable runs was caught.Padikkal Finch.De Villiers played well and brought the sizable score to 201 was nice.Later MI started their innings and played very well brought the score to 201 for 5 in 20 overs with Pollard and Ishan's wonderful game.When the decision came for the team Superover thriller helped RCB.My view MI also played excellent bur winner should be one and RCB deserves on the Super over basis.It was a memorable cricket at Dubai Inter National Stadium on 28Sep ,

 Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from the South Indian Film Industry is none other than the late Singer ,actor,Producer and Voice artist S.P.Balasubramaniam. Popularly Known as Balu from cine and friends circle .Millions of people's favorite singerS.P.Balasuramaniam who has created a big history in the music world is no more.The demise of this  74year old legend is an irrecoverable  loss to the music world. Bestowed with many awards and honours  and his mesmerizing voice in many languages are ringing throughout the country is not a exaggerated one Wanted to become an engineer and  because of his passion to singing he turned a Wonderful singer and applauded by millions of people.Tamil films  his beautiful voice with all the leading actors from late MGR,Gemini ganesh,  and many.  Telugu,kannada ,Malayalam and  Hindi films  also his rich voice was welcomed  by fans  Ek Duje Keliye, snd msany Hindi filmshis song was very popular and Telugu film Shankarabharanam, If i am right more than 40,000 songs this legend sang .In the past many singers dominated still SPB is identified his versataility and beautiful voice with modulation. Men may come and go very few people will stay for ever with their deeds and SPB is one among them with his magical and mesmeraizing voice.  .Sad to the music world  his close associates and friends who love him as Balu.IPray for this legend and the grieving family members.

 The 8 th day of IPL T20 between SRH and KKR and the toss won by SRH and elected batting today was unusual over the past 7days no toss winner selected batting.Openers skipper Warner and Bairstow brought the score to 24 and the 1 wicket of Bairstow gone.Later also no hard hitting bats men scored a sizable run was sad.KKR has comfortably won the match with 3 runs lead with 18 overs.Over all this is the first match witnessed less score.Kudos to KKR Skipper Dinesh Karthick and his men.

 The 9 th day ofIPL zT20 match between R8 in five overs R and KXIP played at Abudhabi stadium and openers Rahul and mayank was a good start.Rahul's brilliant fours and mayank partnership added 58 in 5overs.Rahuland and made a brilliant game with Mayank who was still in Mayank brought the score 183 for 1 when Rahul was caught and Maysnk continus and at the end KPIP scored 223 was really a good score.Cricket is a game change at any time like politics RR eventhough was not expecting their Win a dramatic development from their bats men Smith50, ,Samson89 and Tweata 53 scored five sixers in 18 th over made a Incredible victory for RR This three batsmen made a glorified victory against the kings Royally..It was a good past scoring mtch from both teams.Finally one has to win and RR did it.Kudos to RR Skipper S.Smith and his men.

DC has closed at the end 175 for 3 with Pant not out was a good start.175 is also a sizable total and  CSK with all top class batsmen in hand could not chase and win was sad.What ever be the claims on CSK skipper for not performing  I strongly believe cricket is a game of luck and one should be in form

Letter Published in Gulf News UAE on 26Sep 20IPL -2020: T20 match at the famous Zayed Sports City Stadium in the AbudhabiThe much-awaited T20 match started on September 19 at the famous Zayed Sports City Stadium in the Abudhabi was nice and colourful to watch (“IPL 2020 in UAE: Fans soak up the excitement as action goes live”, Gulf News, September 19). The initial speech by the honourable Minister of Culture Youth and Social development, Sheikh Mubarak bin Nahyan about the game, which will last 55 days, was inspiring. Even though Chennai Super Kings(CSK) won the toss, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni elected to field. The initial four overs were very thunderous with good hits by the openers, skipper Rohit Sharma and Quinton De Kock. Piyush Chawla took Sharma's wicket, the leg spinner made a change in the game as the average score crossed more than nine runs per over. The following two wickets made the game not only more interesting but also challenging. After hitting 42 runs, Saurabh Tiwary brought the score to a good figure. Chennai Super King's Rayudu score an excellent 71 runs, and Du Plessis’ 58 made a remarkable victory for the CSK. Openers Rahul and Mayank played well
and Mayank was bowled for 36 runs is good.He played very well and Rahul continues with 35 and pooran 5 at the 9 th over the end Skipper Rahul finished his team with 206 for 3 wickets was amazing.Rahul played magnificently from the begining and not out with 132 was very good.KXIP has performed very well and unfortunately the famous RCB was completely out of form and none of the players shined was sad.Any way cricket is a game of luck and Skipper K.L.Rahul deserves his victory along with his men.Kudos to K.L.Rahul.

 T20 5th day match between Mumbai indians and KKR was nice to watch Both Rohit sharma and Suryakumar yadav played very well after De kock was dismissed and the score came to 64 runs in 6.4 overs and a beautiful sixer hit by Rohit was colorful to watch.After the run out of Suryakumar yadav the score was 98 for 2.Yadav was out of his good performanceof47 .Rohit sharma was caught made a excellent 80 and could not make his 100.how ever he made captain's innings in the match and won the match by 49 runs may be the highest in the Past 5days T20.Despite KKR 's performance each and every player made his best should be appreciable.Kudos to Rohit Sharma and hi men.

 After seeing yesterday match in the T.V .my good old days I remember watching many matches one day match in the famous Sharjacrh Cricket  stadium and enjoyed two and half decades back as I was working in the famous Bhukatir investmentsGroup..The chair man Abdul Rahman Bhukatir who has created a revolution in the desert by creating a world famous cricket stadium.

 4th day of IPL T20 played at the good old famous Sharjah cricket stadium .RR started their innings even though they have not won the toss CSK skipper Dhoni prefer to field.After 1wicket lost Samson and and Smith brought the score 48 in 5.3 overs was a good beginning.Elegant sixers from Samson was nice to see and he has his half century is appreciable.In 8 overs are score crossed 89 is a record

from the previous matches if I am right.
Both the players were playing magnificently and added a wonderful 2wicketvpartnership of 121 runs is good record in T20 match Samson was caught by Deepak Shah a brilliant catch with 74 runs followed by a brilliant runout added 3 wickets lost.Smith was dismissed at 69 recorded 2highest score in RR.How ever CSK 's Du Plesis and Dhoni made to maximum score and could not win by loosing the match by 16runs.The match was the highet score in the four days.Kudos to RR SkipperSteve Smith and his men

at Dubai international stadium between RCB and SRH started very nicely with RCB openers Padikkal and Aaron Finch brought the score to 94with 11 overs is not a bad start.SRH won the toss and elected to field .Both Padikkal and Finch played very well and some of the Sixers was very colorful to watch.De Villiers magnificent knock with beautiful Sixers made RCB to 163 runs at the end.Even though the three matches are acquired not big scores but thrilling to see the victory with limited scores.SRH has played very well but could n't near the score and were all out is another set back.Kudos to Kohli and his men ,

 Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from the South Indian Film Industry is none other than editor GopiKrishna.He studied in MGR Film and Television Institute and did his Editing made him a good start in the Tamil Film Industry.In his  one and half decades film careeif i am right r he has worked with all the upcoming and leading directors and actors is appreciable.Actors viz,Jayam Ravi,NayanThara,ThambiRamaiah and many others.His first film VazakkuENN18/9gave him the way to the film industry is not an exaggerated one.Thanioruvan gave him a good break with the combination of Director Mohan Raja ,actor Jayam Ravi and others.He has acted more than Twentyfive films is impportant.He is one of the talented upcoming Editors in the Tamil Film Industry is delivering with his talent.I have seen few films of this Editor.Those films are Vazakkuenn 18/9,Dora,ThaniOruvan,DhillukuDhuttu,OruKuppaiKathai,Maniyar Kudumbam,KuttiPuli,ManamKothiParavai, few films i could n't remember.Editing and Cinematography playing a vital roll in the film industry and every technician is contributing his efforts for the film's success is important.Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Editor hails from Tamil nadu.

Historic UAE -Israel peace deal signed in Washington, USA

The article published in Gulf News was meaningful and thought-provoking one (“UAE-Israel peace deal signing ceremony in pictures”, Gulf News, September 15). The historical signing ceremony was held in the White house. Both leaders, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu signed the deal, and it was an impressive development in the recent months. As the editorial in Gulf news rightly mentioned, decades of conflicts and escalation is not going to solve unless diplomacy can be employed is quite right. With this accord, I am confident that decades of disputes between Israel and Palestine will be amicably solved and the middle east region will have peace and prosperity in the coming days. The initiative of the UAE for this is very much appreciable. Congratulations to both the leaders.

Compensation Should be considered.

 The recent news was No relief for private doctors dying on Covid-19 duty.Private Medical Practiioners are not getting support for covid 19 was sad.Recently 42 nd victim of a Private doctor from Hassan Karnataka state was sad .The compensation for him was not bestowed till date .Government should speed up this issue if his family has not received the compensation so far as per Pradan Mantri garib

Kalyan package in which doctors are not eligible.Private doctors should be recoganized in this scheme is my wish.

 Today i am going to pen another Interesting personality in the Tamil Literary World is none other than Writer Era Natarasan.Known for his Tamil and English language short stories and his Ayesha Novella which  was sold millions of copies in twelve languages is amazing.He is the Principal  by profession of a Leading Higher Secondary School in the Southern City Cuddalore in Tamil nadu.His  earler career was started with the famous WEekly Magazine Ananda Vikatan as poet later developed his interest in Short stories and become very popular is Worth to be mention here.Four of his Stories have been made in to shortfilms.His Scientific revolution book wasvery popuar  on 10 famous scientists.He was bestowed his Short story film Ayesha in The National Film Award and Sahitya AcademiAward in 2014 was amazing.More interested in Education sector  and RTEact .I remember one short story i read in this eminent writer. Short stories ,Science field  and ,as teacher  his Wonderful work no one will deny. Today i am very happy to tribute this Legend who has contributed his Brilliant works in the Tamil Literary World .To my   little knowledge i have written   about this Great Writer and if any error found can be ignored.

 The latest painful news in the Indian capitol Delhi 90-year-old woman raped multiple times, brutally thrashed in Delhi's Chhawla village was not only sad and highly unacceptable in a civil society like ours.Perverts don't have the difference and respect for elders and the culprit of this brutal incident should not be spared and need not wait for the verdict should be punished severely with out delay.Sad state of affairs indeed

Tribute to The Associationof Kannada Kootas of America Virtual World Conference (AKKA)626.

 Today i am going to pen another interesting mamooth  event held in the United States of America on 6 Sep (4,5,6) was not only colurful to watch but also more proud for Kannadigas living through out the world is not an exaggerated one.Kannadigas known for their soft nature,calmness,hospitality and above all attached with their Culture and ,tradition  where ever they live. In my last visit in 2014 to my daughter'splace Denver i could n't make a  trip to Sanfrancisco for the conference.However thistime  i am able to watch and enjoy  and my sincere thanks  to my good friend,Professor,Activist ,Actor and above all award winning Director Nagathihalli Chandrashekharfor sending me the link.Even though i could n't make atrip but visited the local Kannada association of Denver  in 2014 and thrilled to see the activities and i remember Mr Prabhakar and his team.The Womens forum introduction by Dr  Anuradha Rudraiah if i am correct was nice and interesting.Women from all walks of life and their acheivements was nicely focussed.Many eminent arists ,Directors viz T.S.Naga Bharana 's contribution are the highlights of this event.I could able to watch for some time and due to some domestic disturbance i could n't watch further.

My total association with my good Kannadiga friends for more than three and half decades 19 years in Karnataka and 16 years in UAE  making me more happy.UAE also i have attended many meetings and conference of Kannada association  In it's two decades and twoyears  AKKA is very popular not only in US ,North America and Canada but also with Millions of NRIS living in the other parts of the world. .Before concluding  the tremandous work by AKKA i am wishing the President and all his team members to continue the same delivery in the coming years.
