Today i remembered another interesting film personality from the south indian film industry is none other than late Cinematographer S.Maruti Rao.Started his career with Late Ace Cinematographer Marcus Bartley and later become an independent Cinematographer. .He was associated with A.V.M Productions for few films and done a good work. He was the Selection committee Chairman of Film and Television Institute of India.He has worked more than sixty films including Tamil,Kannada,Hindi,Teluguis worth to be mention here.His combination with A.V.M Banner ,Director duo Krishnan Panchu was applauded decades back is not exaggerated one.Good frame work both indoor as well out door will be more visible in his films.He was worked with all the leading actors of Yester year viz,Late Sivaji Ganesan ,M.G.R and many others.Even though he has remarkable numbers to his credit i admire few films of this Cinematographer. Those films are,Or Iravu,Antha Naal,Server Sundaram,AnbeVaa and Parasakthi.He was complimented by many film personalities particularly Late A.V.M .Chettiar and other directors for his creative work.Simple,humble,friendly personality liked by one and all from the film fraternity.His smiling face is not with us but his memorable creative frame work both Black and white and colurwork is still with Us Today i am very happy to tribute this Great Legend.
