Tribute to Writer-lyricist Rangarajan (Vaali) 777 Today, I am going to pen about another interesting personality from the Tamil film industry, none other than the late Rangarajan, popularly known as Vaali in his pen name. He was well-known to millions of people and has been documented by many authors and film personalities. I want to pay tribute to this legend in my blogs; I am compelled to portray his personality today. He was born in the famous Trichy district of Thirupparaithurai and studied up to S.S.L.C in Srirangam. Later, he came to Chennai to work in the Tamil film industry. He was fortunate enough to be introduced by the late actor and Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran into films. His imagination, dedication, and creative works made him a wonderful writer and lyricist, propelling him to fame for nearly six decades, if I am correct. He collaborated with top-class companies, producers, and actors. His meaningful songs created big hits in those days for popular actors, viz. M.G.R., Gemini Ganesan, and many other heroes. I cherish all his songs, but there are three unforgettable songs that I always murmur: "Poo Varaiyum," "Odivathu Pol Idai," and "Yaar Sirithal" from the film "Ithayathil Neev," directed by the late legend of Muktha Films, V. Srinivasan. I cannot ignore them. He won many awards, including the Padmashree, which I must mention. A great versatile writer and lyricist, liked by one and all, is no longer with us. The recent Brutal killing of a woman by iron rod was highly unacceptable in Indian Capitol Delhi .Stringent law must be implemented for such crimes with out prolonging the verdict. It should be on the spot .

Parents were understandably anxious about their son. Children playing is normal but unfinished wells can't be left open for children to accidentally fall into. Parents in villages can't monitor children all the time especially when they have to work on the farms. Tribute to Prakash Belawadi 776 Today, I am compelled to write about a versatile personality who has been acclaimed with many awards. Known for his stage and screen activities in various areas of the Kannada film industry, he is none other than the academician and activist, Prakash Belawadi. Even though he has been applauded by many and has made a mark in the international arena over the decades, I want to pay tribute to this versatile personality in my blogs for my satisfaction. While I have not seen his stage performances, I have watched a couple of Kannada and Tamil films in which he amazed me with his versatile roles. Films like India VS England, Airlift, Soorarai Potru (a Tamil movie), and a few others in Hindi, though I cannot recollect the names, have left a lasting impression on me. His family background led him to take a liking for the theatre, and he proved his mettle and established his own identity, which is laudable. With my limited knowledge, I am writing this column, and today, I am very happy to pay tribute to this award-winning personality. Apart from his film career, he is a mechanical engineer, activist, and above all, a good human being. I have already mentioned his collaboration with film directors Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar and Raja Krishna Menon for India VS England and Airlift in my blogs. His sister Sudha Belawadi is another versatile actress from his family .I wish him all the very best in the coming days and hope for happy and peaceful days for his family members. The on going crisis in Manipur and the continus violence, destroying and killing was sad and painful.Above all the recent naked parade of two women was not only condemned but also highly unacceptable in a civilsociety like ours. TamilFilm the sin of killing Director Dayal Padmanabhan, who has given a very good film with a few characters, has to be praised. Charlie, Easwari Rao, Varaksmi Sarath Kumar, Santhosh Prathap, Senthaiyan and a few others have acted in the film with good music and cinematography by Chezhiyan. Tribute to the Late Writer Vasumathy Ramaswamy 775 Today, I am going to write about another interesting personality from the Tamil Literary World, none other than the Late Writer Vasumathy Ramaswamy. After her early marriage, she moved to the famous South Indian city of Madurai with her in-laws and developed a liking for reading. Her father-in-law, who was more interested in the old Congress party, attended many meetings and interacted with his lawyer friends, which further fueled her reading habit. Eventually, this habit led her to write stories and novels. Her first short story was published in the renowned Tamil magazine Jagan Mohini, and the editor, Kothai Nayaki Ammal, was impressed with her work. Later, she began writing for Ananda Vikatan, Kalki, and other magazines. Apart from her social services, she started writing in her leisure time, encouraged by her husband. Her work "Deviin Kadithangal" gained significant fame through Kalki magazine. She also had the opportunity to meet Gandhiji, whom she admired for his social service to the underprivileged. Inspired by him, she started serving people from all walks of life, regardless of caste or creed. This dedication is commendable. I have read a few of her short stories, such as "Parvathiin Ninaivil." Her creations carry social messages through stories and dramas. One of her stories was even selected by the late stalwart Akilan, who honored her with an award. A writer, social worker, novelist, and above all, a good human being, she is no longer with us. However, her wonderful creations continue to exist. Recently, her family members and fans celebrated her 100th birthday, which speaks volumes about the quality of her work and her legacy. Today, I am delighted to pay tribute to this amazing late lady. I have written this column to the best of my knowledge, and any errors found should be overlooked. K. Tribute to the Common Man or Voter Today, I feel compelled to pay tribute to the common man or voter. Ever since democracy came into force, the common man or voter has played a vital role. It cannot be denied that no political party can acquire the power to rule without the support of the common man. Political parties influence the common man through various manifestos, particularly by offering freebies. The common man often falls into this trap and elects the party that promises freebies, only to later regret their decision. Despite making the same mistakes for decades, the common man continuously improves their assessment and becomes more resistant to falling for such offers, choosing instead to elect a capable administrator. I observe significant progress in the process of electing leaders, and the role of the common man or voter is indeed influential and powerful. While an elected administrator can rule for a period of five years only, the common man rules forever and has the ability to bring about change whenever they desire. This is the magnificent power of the common man over the elected representative. We must never underestimate the power of the common man or the voter. The shooting of Nahel, an innocent 17-year-old by the police caused these riots and the incident was followed by the death of the 24-year-old fire fighter on duty. People were aggravated at Nahel's death and started looting properties and making the public more panicky. French authorities and Swedish authorities must act and control the violence and looting. As often happens in riots, innocent civilians tend to suffer. It remains to be seen whether Europe will restore peace and normality and take strict action against the looters. I still remember of sitting in the window seat in the Steam engine train and getting smoke and the eyes get irritation was not only worst experience but was funny. Going with all family members and siblings for short trip was an adventurous. When I was inMadurai always take Vaigai express to Chennai where my parents was located on holidays when I was staying as a bachelor in Madurai Later the dramatic change over Loco engines and I still remember from Madurai to Villupuram loco engines will go .From Villupuram the new Electric engine will be attached reach Chennai despite 45 minutes late arrival to Villupuram.This I always admire the speed and how the time was adjusted only for the possibility of Electric engine.Earlier making reservations was tough and go to Railway stations stand in the lengthy queue was now averted by the fast IT technology reserving your ticket for any destination any ware in India and abroad.Despite the mode of travel has changed in many areas and people enjoying the travel still at times seat won’t be available either increase in travelers or travel has become a must. However from steam engine period to Modern aminities travel mode has changed should be laudable.
