I hardly watch movies. But recently my grandchildren forced me to join them in watching a film at a cinema.

Luckily, the movie was interesting. What I enjoyed more was the time I spent with my family as part of the outing. Nothing makes us happy more than a joint family outing.

Ram was admiring Vasanthy's frank open comment on him.Vasanthy too like Ram's beautiful comments on her.True love and affection is not living together was evident in this pair's back ground.Inspite of  not reading Vasanthy's letter Ram was confident on her stand  in  Kathambari. Ram took the phone.Kathambari was in the other line.Ram what is your answer on ourproposal to you.
Ram.I was waiting for your call ,I accept the offer.
Kathambari.Fine,i was looking for this positive answer from you.Iwill come and pick you to our office at 12.P.M.
Ram.I will be ready at 12.p.m.Kathambari left the phone.
Vasanthy.Well,now the time is 11.a.m.
Ram.Yes,another one hour time left for Kathambari'sarrival.
Vasanthy.What you want to do.
Ram.Nothing.I can have  Beautiful Conversation  with this beautiful  lady.Hope you will
Vasanthy.Certainly. i Still remember our friend ship started with Beautiful conversation in my coffee bar restaurant in Bangalore before we are going for Nenjam Marapathillai movie.
Ram.Your memory is very sharp. i too remember that day.The film was about previous birth,similarly our life was also started  after twenty eight years.
Vasanthy. Iwas sincerely Praying Lord  Balaji to meet you and spent my rest of the life with you.My prayers has not gone to vein.

Tribute to Writer Late( Kalki) Krishnamurthy 219.

Today i am going to pen another interesting personality who has inspired Millions of readers by his historical
creations is none other than Krishnamurthy ,Popularly known as Kalki.. Inspired by late Mahatma Gandhiji's movement he  actively participated in his school days went to prison was worth to be mention here.After that he started his Journalism  career with late Sadasivam.Kalki was formed and later became a  Popular family magazine in those days. His writing skills on Social and Historical subjects no one can find fault. Lovely language and elaborate descriptions are his assets. He has worked in Navasakthi,Aananda Vikatan and associated with Late Governor  General  C.Rajagopalachari was  few years.He was bestowed Sahitya Academi Award for his Social Novel Alai Osai.I have read few books of this Stalwart.Those Books  are,Alai osai,Ponniyin Selvan,Sivagamiin Sabatham,Kalvanin Kathali,and Parthipankanavu.Parthipan kanavu came as a movie with Late Gemini Ganesan,S.V.Ranga rao and Vyjayanthi mala gave him a good name .Istill remember some of  his memorable  Characters in his big epic PonniIn Selvan , those are,Vanthia thevan,Nandini,Aalvar kadian,Peria Palu vettaraiar,Kunthavi and few others. His Imagination and historical authenticity is laudable.He lived few decades only ,bur his remarkable work and fiction of both social and Historical no one can forget. His big epic Ponniin. selvan was  to make film by the late actor M.G.R due to some reasons was dropped. Now the mighty Director ManiRatnam is going to make this film in his mighty way should be appreciable If this film come out a great achievement for this Nayagan Director Mani Ratnam..Incidently  the writer Kalki hails from Tanjore District,where many famous writers has created
their identity. Today i am more happy to Pen this Great Legend Writer.

Thoughts are with victims of storm   Letter Published in The National,Uae on 5 Nov 12

I was sad to read US faces $50bn bill for storm (October 31), about the extent of the damage wrought by Hurricane Sandy.

Millions of people in New York and New Jersey were affected, but the relief work was fast and many of them were quickly evacuated.

I hope the victims have a speedy return to their normal lives.

Pickled lesson       Article Published in The Gulf Today on 3Nov12 (275).

We have just shifted from Chennai to Bangalore and hired a “packers and movers” company to transfer the household belongings. Various domestic items, including TV and the washing machine, were put in one box. What we did not realise is that we had also put two pickle bottles along with these. Fortunately, there was no major damage, though there were strains after one of the bottles had tilted. Lesson learnt. Next time, we will be careful.
