Today i am going to pen another interesting personality who has inspired Millions of readers by his historical
creations is none other than Krishnamurthy ,Popularly known as Kalki.. Inspired by late Mahatma Gandhiji's movement he actively participated in his school days went to prison was worth to be mention here.After that he started his Journalism career with late Sadasivam.Kalki was formed and later became a Popular family magazine in those days. His writing skills on Social and Historical subjects no one can find fault. Lovely language and elaborate descriptions are his assets. He has worked in Navasakthi,Aananda Vikatan and associated with Late Governor General C.Rajagopalachari was few years.He was bestowed Sahitya Academi Award for his Social Novel Alai Osai.I have read few books of this Stalwart.Those Books are,Alai osai,Ponniyin Selvan,Sivagamiin Sabatham,Kalvanin Kathali,and Parthipankanavu.Parthipan kanavu came as a movie with Late Gemini Ganesan,S.V.Ranga rao and Vyjayanthi mala gave him a good name .Istill remember some of his memorable Characters in his big epic PonniIn Selvan , those are,Vanthia thevan,Nandini,Aalvar kadian,Peria Palu vettaraiar,Kunthavi and few others. His Imagination and historical authenticity is laudable.He lived few decades only ,bur his remarkable work and fiction of both social and Historical no one can forget. His big epic Ponniin. selvan was to make film by the late actor M.G.R due to some reasons was dropped. Now the mighty Director ManiRatnam is going to make this film in his mighty way should be appreciable If this film come out a great achievement for this Nayagan Director Mani Ratnam..Incidently the writer Kalki hails from Tanjore District,where many famous writers has created
their identity. Today i am more happy to Pen this Great Legend Writer.
