Today i remembered an another Versatile Person from the south indian film industry who has worked in Tamil,Malayalam and Hindi films and earned a wonderful name is none other then Cinematographer Tirru.Worked with P.C.Sree ram and Kamal Hassan,in the early days ,later he had his own identity is worth to be mentioned here.He has worked with the today'stop class actors and Directors of the three languages isimportant.Good clean shots and visual effects are his Speciality Even though.he has many films to his credit,i have seen few memorable creations of this talented cinematographer.Those films are,Kaathala Kaathala,Hey ram,Sakthi,Magalir mattum,Mission 90 days and Aakroshare in my memory.Today i am happy to tribute this talented up coming personality ,who hails from Salem Distrct.

I always enjoy my train journey in India from Chennai to Bangalore by an express train. At times I come across good friends who share their experiences and I reciprocate.

Recently, I had an experience while travelling. Unlimited breakfast is provided in this particular train, even though the duration of travel is five hours. I was seated near the window and two others were sitting next to me. A passenger was reading a newspaper when the pantry man served breakfast. The passenger tried to turn the newspaper, when he hit the server’s hand by mistake forcing him to spill ketchup and other eatables on the white shirt of a co-passenger.

Can you believe this? The person who turned the newspaper and was responsible for the chaos did not as much utter a word of apology!

I wonder how some people behave like this in a public place.

Tribute to cinemotographer Marcus Bartley.(129.)

Today i remembered an another interesting and wonderfulcinematographer in those days created a very big impact in Tamil,Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films is none other then Marcus Bartley.Known for his indoor and excellent out door shots with perfection.He was associated with B.Nagi Reddy ofVijaya Banner for many years.He has got many awards ,particularly Shanthi Nilayam was worth to be mentioned here.He has many films to his credit of four languages.I remember few of his movies,Missiamma,Maya Bazaar,Gunasundari,Shanthi Nilayam,Ram Aur Shyam,(hindi).Chandra haram,Pathala Bhairaviand wonderful Chemmeen.Respected by the film fraternity.Even though he is not with us,but his beautiful Picturaisation of Eyarkai enum ilaya kanni,sung by S.P.Balasubramaniam still infront of us.Cine fans can not for get this song.I am very happy to tribute this Stalwart.

The other day I was travelling by train in Chennai, hearing comments from people about the forthcoming World Cup. I also watched a TV channel where the Indian captain confidently claimed that his team would clinch the Cup. I remember when I was in the UAE, the World Cup matches were on. My roommate asked me which team would win. I told him my intuition was Sri Lanka and it happened the same way.

Knowing this, a friend of mine asked me about my intuition on the approaching World Cup. Intuitions arise spontaneously. Now I have retired not only from my profession, but also from intuitions.

Today i remembered an another interesting Personality who has created a Very Big impact four decades back in tamil and kannada films is none other then Cinemotographer V.Ramamurthy.The Combination of Late actor M.G.R,Director P.Neelakantan and V.Ramamurthy was brought many successful films is not a Exaggerated one.Known for his clean indoor and Excellent out door shootings with beautiful effects..Those days he has created a very big impact in out side the country , is important.The film Ulagam Sutrum Vaaziban gave a wonderful Audience appeal both in terms of out door Cinemotography Lilting music and songs.Today's popular actors are associated with this Doyen.Eventhough he has direced many films as a Cinemotographer i still remember few films of this Veteran.Those films are,Kanavan,Karnan,Adimaipen,Ulagam Sutrum Valiban,Ayirathil oruvan,,and Maatukaravelan.Maatukaravelan's Song Puvaitha puvaiku was still ringing in my ears.One of the few Cinemotographer's highly respected by the film fraternity.Today i am happy to tribute this Cinemotographer.

The news article Tibetan Buddhists march in India in support of beleaguered leader (February 3) reported that thousands of Buddhist monks and laypersons protested against an investigation by Indian police into the source of a large amount of money found in the Dharamsala monastery of the Karmapa, the third-ranking leader in Tibetan Buddhism.
Many people have known this Buddhist leader for a long time and support his honesty and integrity.
The monastery maintains that the money has been donated by pilgrims to Dharamsala, The Indian Home Ministry is yet to receive the investigation report.
