The other day I was travelling by train in Chennai, hearing comments from people about the forthcoming World Cup. I also watched a TV channel where the Indian captain confidently claimed that his team would clinch the Cup. I remember when I was in the UAE, the World Cup matches were on. My roommate asked me which team would win. I told him my intuition was Sri Lanka and it happened the same way.
Knowing this, a friend of mine asked me about my intuition on the approaching World Cup. Intuitions arise spontaneously. Now I have retired not only from my profession, but also from intuitions.
