I was on a visit to Bangalore and used to narrate stories to my
grandson. He was impressed by one of the characters and kept
repeating his name. He’s hardly 3. The close association I had with
him during my stay is memorable.

When I left for my hometown, I was pleasantly surprised when the child
asked me to narrate stories over the phone. Children do have that
magnetic appeal.
