A friend called up asking whether I was in Chennai or Bangalore. I replied I was in Chennai and he said he would meet me after two days. I asked why he was not meeting the next day. “I am going off to Paris that day,” he replied. “You never told me you are going abroad,” I reacted, before realising in a minute that Paris Corner is a famous locality in Chennai.
