A friend called me recently to say that he wanted to introduce someone. When I reached the person’s home along with him, I was pleasantly surprised to meet a famous Tamil actress of yesteryears, Sowcar Janaki. She has acted in movies in four different languages and has won several awards. What’s astonishing is that even at 83, she keeps a busy schedule and remains active and cheerful.
