The demise of the 77-year-old cricket player Ajit Wadekar is a great loss to the cricket world. Known for his wonderful performances in 1971 (he scored 2113 runs in 37 matches if I am right) he led the Indian cricket team to memorable victories. I am an admirer of this stylish batsman. I pray for this departed legend.
