Letter Published in KhaleejTimes UAE on8Oct 18Russian missiles won't rock India-Us relations    This is in reference to the recent missile deal signed between India and Russia (India signs $5b defence deal with Russia amid US threat; KT, Oct 6). India has strong relations with Russia and it goes back to decades. The recent deal simply reinforces the relations between the two countries. However, the news should be seen in the light of threat of sanctions from the US. Despite that, India has done things its own way, which is laudable. India's foreign policy of non-interference and straight forward approach to relations makes it a friendly nation, and it should continue on that path.- K. Ragavan, Bengaluru, India
