This meaningful and thought provoking article on the Coptic Orthodox Christian community and the solidarity extended by UAE’s Copts was good to read. The recent bomb blast, which killed a brave policeman who was trying to defuse the device is undoubtedly a tragedy. Today, terror threats are widening across the world in a manner that is both unacceptable and hugely alarming. In Egypt, it is the Christians who have been most targeted. The question remains, will the international community come together to tackle this issue once and for all, or will tragedies of this kind continue to be perpetrated?K Ragavan, Bengaluru
