Elevation Encounter

Mahadevappa returned home from the office to find his friend, Muniappa, waiting for him.

"Welcome, Muniappa! How are you?" Mahadevappa greeted warmly. Turning to his wife, he said, "Please bring some tea and biscuits."

After exchanging pleasantries, Muniappa smiled and handed over a box of sweets.

"I have wonderful news to share," he said. "My son, Ravindra, has been promoted to the position of Executive Engineer in his company. He has also been transferred to their construction site in Shimoga."

Mahadevappa happily accepted the sweets.

"That's excellent news! At this stage of his career, earning a promotion in a leading construction company truly reflects his talent, dedication, and hard work. I am very proud of him."

After a brief pause, Mahadevappa continued, "In fact, I was planning to meet you soon with another proposal."

"What proposal?" Muniappa asked curiously.

"My sister's daughter, Ragini, has completed her MBA and recently joined a multinational company. I feel she would be a suitable match for your grandson, Viswa."

Muniappa smiled with interest.

"What a pleasant coincidence!" he replied. "Even my brother-in-law has just been promoted as Marketing Manager in his company. It seems promotions are bringing happiness to our families."

The following week, both families met. After Viswa and Ragini spoke to each other and expressed their willingness, the elders happily fixed the wedding.

Sometimes, an elevation in one's profession becomes a sign of even greater blessings, bringing joy, success, and new relationships into the family.
