The news article, ‘Top Organiser of India’s C.Wealth Games Jailed’ (KT, April 26 ),was nice. A popular TV channel brought up these Commonwealth Games allegations first and which were later followed by the exposure of many other scams.
At last the authorities have arrested the key men of this huge scam. Bypassing the rules and favoritism are on the main charge sheet.
A country like India with a vast population cannot afford this heavy loss.
This scam was the talk of the town a few months back. Today, because of globalisation and the media watchdog corruption in all areas is more visible. It is truly a sad state of affairs.
