Today i am going to pen an another Interesting producer ,Director and Cinematographer of south Indian films is none other then Balu Mahendra.Known for his Powerful Subjects with Beautiful Cinemato graphy with his Directorial touch.Started his career with famous Malayalam Director Sethumadhavan and P.N.Menon ,later he has his own identity .He has Directed few films of Tamil,Telugu,Malayalam ,Kannada and Hindi films is important.His first Kannada film Kokila won National award,and Actor Mohan was introduced in that movie.Today's top class actors and Directors worked with this stalwart.His Main inspiration came to become a film maker ,Director after witnessed the Great Director David Lean's shooting of the film, The Bridge on the River Kwai is worth to be mentioned here.Good story,Meaning ful dialoques,and Excellent cinematography will be more visible in his movies.Ihave seen few films of this Doyen.Those films are,Aliyatha Kolangal,Mudu Pani,Moondram Pirai,Rettai val kuruvi, and Sadma.Moondram Pirai won National Film award for the best film for Cinematography and Kokila also.He is one of the few cinematographers ,respected from the film fraternity.Today i am happy to tribute this Stalwart.
