I read that the sacked chairman of the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee in India, Suresh Kalmadi, has been arrested, and I have to say that this is good news. The scam was exposed by a popular television channel a while ago and the arrest has been made only now. Although this came late, justice was finally brought to the people of India. A vast country like India cannot afford to lose large amounts of money that come from the tax payers. They are already suffering the effects of inflation and other daily problems.
