I was casually chatting with a friend at my home in Chennai when I heard a commotion outside. There was panic all around. It was then that I switched on the TV and heard about the tsunami threat to several countries. Memories of the devastation caused by the earlier tsunami flashed in my mind. Mercifully, the prescribed alert time crossed and people were spared nature’s fury.
