Not a ‘bad man’
The decision to bestow the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke award on Bollywood’s famous villain Pran, whose career spanned over 300 films, is laudable. Many heroes have received this award. But Pran, with his powerful and sophisticated negative roles, has achieved this honour through hard work.I cannot forget his movies like Zanjeer, An Evening in Paris, Love in Tokyo, Brahmachari and many others. Pran is portrayed as a bad man only in films, but in real life, he has remained a gem.
