Write right

I used to participate in various writing competitions while at school and won a few prizes. Later, writing became a passion for me. Recently, a friend displayed a collection of his write-ups that had appeared in various UAE newspapers and international journals on a famous social website. It made me think about the power of the social media which offers a superb platform for everyone to utilise. When good thoughts come to one’s mind, it is worthwhile writing it down. It was  Louis L’Amour who once said, “Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on.”
