LetterPublished in GulfNews UAE on 28 Nov 17, Not  a great decision The recent decision from the Congress party to elevate Rahul Gandhi as the president in the coming month, was a dramatic development for Indian politics (“Congress declares road map for Rahul ’s elevation to president”, Gulf News, November 21). As a person, I like him, but I disagree with giving him more responsibilities to lead the party. Rahul has not made any achievement for the party and has not matured enough to address his opponents. The Congress has already lost its image with the people. Will this new move of elevating Gandhi as the party president regain the image of the party? That is the main question.From Mr K Ragavan India
