Gambhir is known for his charity work and straightforwardness. Both these qualities will be an asset for the BJP. One more chowkidar (gatekeeper) is added to the BJP's list. This is a timely decision by the young cricketer, and will give make the BJP stronger. He could rake in votes for the party if he is allowed to contest in the Lok Sabha elections from Delhi. Indians who prefer a non-corrupt administration and have a vision for India are likely to prefer the present administration.
