K Ragavan writes the shocking revelation of electrocution figures from Bescom over the past five years in the city sends out a signal of alarm (Electric shock killed 1,000 in five years). People should be aware and stay off electric wires and areas where transformers are there. Parents should monitor their kids’ activities. The government should also make an awareness programme for the people periodically since monsoon is nearing.
