Letter.

Letter Published in BM on 13June 19Think before you invest
K Ragavan, after reading the story ‘Crinkle in Shivajinagar’ wonders why people invest their money on unreliable companies. He writes that investors are now crying foul over not receiving their returns from IMA Jewels. The whereabouts of the MD are not known and the government has now ordered SIT to investigate. People don’t invest money in banks as the returns are lesser as compared to investing in a company. The high cost of living is not compensated by the returns one receives from the banks. Therefore, they fall into such investment traps. It is really sad that even after so much news coverage about companies cheating people of their hard-earned money, they still tend to invest on them. It can only be hoped that SIT will find out the truth and people’s money will remain safe from now on.
