Tribute 783.

Tribute to K.M. Veeresh, the Editor, Producer, and Journalist 783 Today, I find myself compelled to express my thoughts about a dear friend whom I first encountered on a popular professional platform over half a decade ago. Over the past three years, our connection has deepened, and this remarkable individual is none other than K.M. Veeresh. His journey in the world of journalism is truly commendable, as he began as a sports journalist and later transitioned into a distinguished photojournalist. K.M. Veeresh's contributions to his field, coupled with his unwavering courage and determination, have given birth to countless photographic stories that no one can overlook. Notably, his creation, "Chitraloka," became the first Kannada Film Portal, earning widespread recognition in the Sandalwood Film Industry and establishing his name as a reputable figure within it. One of the most extraordinary milestones in his career was being featured in the Limca Book of Records, specifically in the 2008 edition. This recognition was a testament to his dedication and expertise, as he organized an exhibition in the Chamber of Commerce, showcasing approximately 2650 photographs. This exhibition chronicled the 72-year-old history of the Kannada film industry, leaving everyone in awe of his remarkable accomplishment. K.M. Veeresh's popularity extends far and wide, making him a beloved personality among film producers, actors, and other industry professionals. Not content with just journalism, he also ventured into film production, collaborating with renowned actors such as Avinash, U. Shetty, and Dayal, as well as the talented cinematographer Suresh Byrasandra. In recent years, I have had the pleasure of watching many of K.M. Veeresh's programs on Chitraloka's YouTube channel and the popular social site Facebook. Among these programs, one that particularly fascinated me was the involvement of charismatic anchors like Mr. Kari Subbu, Musiri Jayasimha, Vasu, and others. His unwavering determination to uplift the Kannada Film Industry in all aspects deserves immense admiration. He has consistently striven to promote and bring deserving yesteryear film actors to his channel, shedding light on their challenges, which is a truly noble gesture from this Photo Editor Journalist. K.M. Veeresh's decades-long involvement and dedication to his field have molded him into a consummate professional. Before I conclude, I must mention that he is not only appreciated by the film fraternity but also cherished by his close associates. With these thoughts in mind, I extend my warm wishes for good health and peaceful days not only to him but also to his mother and entire family. To the best of my knowledge, I have shared these words, and any errors that may be found should be kindly overlooked. With Warm Regards, K. Ragavan September 11, 2023 Until We Meet Again Next Week
