Cricket is the talk of the town in India. So much so that I postponed my visit to my favourite destination, UAE, and hope to be there next month. I was recollecting my old association with Sharjah, where I spent 16 years. Incidentally, a leading business house of Dubai will award the “Best Cricket Players” of the UAE. The selected players will receive the awards from former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev. I am happy that the UAE is more visible in sports also.
