No to fake drugs

Your news report, ‘Fake Drugs, a dangerous choice’ (KT, March 3) was nice and meaningful. Today, fake drugs are more visible throughout the world and this is really dangerous. Consuming the fake drugs at a lesser monetary cost may translate into various side effects.
I am happy that the UAE government has confiscated such fake drugs from the pharmacies. People are tempted by the low cost and so many drugs are available for reducing weight and other sex related problems. Counterfeit of any product is a crime but that of drugs is a great crime.
