People keep saying that the fast, modern lifestyle is destroying family bonds. I do not agree. I received a call early in the morning from my grandson. I thought he was looking for company for basketball practice.
I asked him what time I had to reach his place. “You need not come. I rang up to wish you a happy birthday,” he replied. I was impressed. Family bonds can remain strong irrespective of social speed.
