Today, I am compelled to write about a prominent figure in the Southern film industry, renowned for his remarkable visual work and significant impact in recent years. This personality is none other than Cinematographer Rathnavelu. He commenced his career alongside veteran Cinematographer and Director Rajiv Menon, contributing to numerous advertisement films. Notably, he has contributed to several films across three languages, which deserve recognition. The majority of his works have been successful, featuring some of today's leading actors such as Rajnikanth, Vijay, Surya, and Jayam Ravi.Rathnavelu is well-known for his proficiency in visual effects and outdoor cinematography, showcasing a distinctive framework in each of his films. The South Indian film industry has gained recognition for its skilled technicians, particularly in the realm of cinematography. I have had the pleasure of watching a few films by this expert, including Aravindhan, Sethu, Nanda, Jayam, Bhagavathi, Thirumalai, Vaaranam Aayiram, and Peralagan. Although I haven't personally seen the much-discussed recent film Enthiran, I have witnessed the craftsmanship behind its production. Recently I saw the Kannadafilm Kausalya Supraja Rama and liked the theme on drinking and how life spoils .Ram and his friendSanthu are good relative friends are the main characters of the film.How Ram was lost his lover Shivani was the first half and later married to Muthulakshmi as per his mother’s wish and how he changed her mind set of fear over the dead body in the medical college she saw first and how that incident addicted to drugs and drinks was nicely handled by Director Shashank. Beginning was little fun and later changed with serious subject and solved nicely by Director.Actors Darling Krishna,and NagaBhushan are child hood friends and he was advising him periodically.RangayanaRaghu as Ram’s father and SudhaBelwadi as his mother done their role very well.Other characters done byAchutkumar and othersBrindaAcharya,MilanaNagaraj played well. Pleasing music by Arjun Janya, Good frame work by Sugnan, Editing GiriMahesh,was nice. Recent films this is one of the nice film with subject nicely Directed by Shashank. Tribute to my cobrother.

In memory of my dearCobrother and cherished friend, Varadan Our family recently endured a painful loss as we bid farewell to our beloved relative and my Cobrother Varadan, who peacefully departed on the 27th in Chennai. Despite his prolonged illness, his enduring friendship with me over the decades is a bond that will forever remain in my heart. As the first son-in-law in my father-in-law's family, he graciously welcomed me on numerous occasions, be it at family gatherings, functions, or weddings. His gentle demeanor, the way he introduced me to his acquaintances, and his warm hospitality continue to be etched in my memory. Though his sons and daughters have found success and stability in their lives, the void left by his absence is truly immeasurable. Even my own children affectionately referred to him as "Periappa" (uncle), and he held a special place in their hearts, much like a father figure. In this challenging time, I offer my heartfelt prayers to our Acharyan, seeking the strength and fortitude for Varadan's family members to cope with the loss. May his soul rest in peace. K. I would like to share my experience with Shivrajkumar. Me and my wife used to celebrate our marriage anniversary every year by visiting Guruvayur to seek Lord Krishna s blessings. On one such occasion when we returned from the temple in the morning to the hotel where we were staying we saw a small crowd in the lobby and Shivrajkumar was standing in the middle of the group. My wife having been born and brought up in Bangalore immediately recognised him and went and talked to him.we spent about 5 minutes and when my wife asked him whether he had special Dharshan he said he stood in the queue and had a normal Dharshan only. Then he said since ha has come in two or three cars along with friends he can drop us back in Bangalore if we are returning immediately. Tribute to my friend Kumar 788 Today, I feel compelled to express my sentiments regarding a dear friend I met in the UAE during my years of employment there. Our friendship spans over two decades, having initially been forged through our respective grandchildren, who were schoolmates in the UAE. His children attended the same school as my grandson. Kumar, a man of smiles, intelligence, and knowledge, left a lasting impression on me. He, along with his wife, visited our home on several occasions. What struck me about Kumar was not only his warm demeanor but also his keen interest in reading my articles published in prominent UAE newspapers. His encouragement and engaging conversations, coupled with his profound insights into market conditions and corporate matters, were truly remarkable. I had the pleasure of visiting his office, which belonged to a leading multinational corporation, for official purposes on a few occasions. After several years, my time in the UAE came to an end, and I returned to my hometown. Kumar also moved to Saudi Arabia but eventually returned to the UAE. About a year ago, I received heartwarming news through my daughter. Kumar had come back to India and settled in our vicinity, with plans to visit our home soon. When he and his wife finally graced our home with their presence, I was elated to see Kumar's ever-present warm smile. After hours of catching up, he extended a gracious invitation to his own house. I accepted his offer, and he personally picked me up from the metro station and escorted me to his home. It was there that I had the pleasure of reuniting with his daughter, who had been a bright and intelligent student during her school days, qualities she had clearly retained into adulthood. Our time together was marked by the same spirit of camaraderie we had shared for years. Following our visit, Kumar took me to another friend's home, a versatile writer and retired bank professional. We spent over an hour together, and Kumar's hospitality and warmth were truly unforgettable. I must commend Kumar's ability to communicate with grace and his knack for appreciating what is right. Before parting ways, he insisted that I not miss his daughter's upcoming dance performance, a promise he assured to inform me about. I attended the mesmerizing performance and had the pleasure of meeting his son, who had specially flown in from the UK for the occasion. He, too, greeted us warmly. Today, I am delighted to share my thoughts about this unforgettable friend, a testament to his exemplary behavior, hospitality, and innate goodness. Many sports enthusiasts have demonstrated their prowess in marathon running, regardless of their age and years of experience. I must highlight the outstanding accomplishments of my dear friends, Basavaraj and ChandraShekhar, who have excelled in marathon running for over three decades, covering thousands of kilometers. Their dedication deserves special recognition. In the realm of cricket, we have talented sports personalities representing all countries' teams. Trucking has also emerged as a commendable sport, with both genders making a significant impact. It's worth noting that my youngest daughter's favorite sport is trucking, and she enjoys it in the USA. Basketball is gaining popularity in South Asia and the USA, with both genders excelling from various countries. Notably, two of my twin grandsons and my granddaughter are National and state-level basketball players respectively, which fills me with pride. For senior citizens, walking is a prominent sport, with many individuals averaging 8,000 to 12,500 steps per day—an admirable feat. It has been proven that sports, regardless of the arena and for both genders, contribute to good health and longevity.
