What is Permanent.

What is Permanent? Nothing in this world is permanent. We often think something is permanent, but it is not. The strength that existed yesterday is no longer there today. The beauty we once had may fade. The wealth that some had yesterday might not be present today. People who were ordinary yesterday may become great wealth holders today. When we visit a big city and marvel at the houses and structures, the old houses often fade from memory when we look at the newer ones. Friendships that were present yesterday may no longer exist today, and new friendships emerge. Those who were once restless may now be calm. As we observe such changes, we realize that nothing in this world is permanent. We fail to realize this, but we must let go of the notion that anything is permanent. The only true permanence, both today and forever, is God, who is remembered by everyone. K.Ragavan.
