Bahrain’s new labour reform law is a welcome one. Now, people can change jobs without the consent of sponsors. I hope the UAE will also implement this reform soon. That will help boost the country’s image.
Bahrain because of its peculiar demographics and progressive leadership has always been at the forefront in initiating reforms. The present legislation will not only help the labour market but also trade, commerce and industry. Of course, fundamentally weak business will be finished but it will also encourage entrepreneurs and investors to invest in Bahrain.
