A friend of mine who got acquainted with my native place through a well-known travel site wanted to pay me a visit. I was happy in anticipation of being able to receive him at my place within the next couple of days. However, a sudden call from him announced that he was postponing his visit — the reason being his city had been rocked by four serial bomb blasts. His family members were not keen on allowing him to travel.

I was disappointed that a sad incident as the one that had hurt many people and had, therefore, instilled fear in many minds had prevented two friends from meeting each other.
