Tribute to Cinemato grapher Kay Gee 366.

Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from BollyWood film industry is none other than Late  Cinematographer Kay Gee.He has worked with all top class actors viz  ,Amitabh Bachchan , Shashi Kapoor,Shatruhan Sinha,Raakhee, Rekha,,Prem Chopra and many others.He was associated with Late Famous Director Yash Chopra for many years. He has given many remarkable movies .Brilliant  shots both indoor and out door  will be visible in his films.Even though he has plenty of films to his credit,i have seen few films.Those movies are, Ittefaq, Daaq,Deewar,Kabhi Kabhie,Trishul,Kaala Pathar,Sil Sila,and Sawaal,Some pictures i could n't remember. Till his departure (if i remember 1983) he was one of the few Cinematographers respected from the  film industry.Even though he is not with us his memorable movies are with us..Bolly wood industry earlier as well to day known for it's Cinematography.Today i am very happy to tribute this Late Cinematographer.

Connecting factor

Interacting with different people from various walks of life through social media could make one famous, at least virtually.

I interact with so many people by posting links of my work and posting photos as well. Recently, I was bestowed with this moment of happiness when I went to meet my friends in Chennai.  These friends were kind enough to spare their time with me. A few of those friends had read my past articles in newspapers and posted on the social media and they expressed their positive reactions. Social media does bring people closer.

The Gulf News story about the Indian court saying that voters have a right to abstain from voting was interesting (‘Court says voters have right to abstain’, Gulf News, August 22). If the government insists on compulsory voting in all elections, they should also amend a new law saying people have the right to throw the government if they fail to deliver on promises and instead lead with corruption and so many other things. I do agree that every citizen should vote for good governance. Will it happen in India?

Tribute to Director Chimbu Devan 365.

Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from Tamil film industry is none other than Director Chimbu Devan.Started his career as a cartoonist in the famous tamil magazine Ananda vikatan  and later  with Popular director Cheran  as assistant . .In his  nine years film career he has given few  remarkable movies and earned a good name is worth to be mentioned.He has worked with all the leading actors  viz,Prakash Raj,Lawrance Raghavendra,Vadivelu,,Santhanam, and others.His films are full of comedy with meaningful dialoques.I have seen few films of this Director.Those movies are Imsai Arasan Pulikesi Arai en 305 il Kadavul, and Irumbukottai Murattu singam. Imsai arasan pulikesi  acted by Vadivelu in the leading roll earned a good name for him.This film was won for  Best Costume  from Tamil Nadu  state award is important.Good Cinematography by Arthur A.Wilson is added attraction for this movie.Other two films also earned a good name for him.Madurai district has created many talented Technicians and ,actors is not a exaggerated one. incidentally  this director also hails from the famous city Madurai.His up coming film with Vijay in the Leading roll and  Natrajan Subramanian as Cinematographer will certainly  earn a wonderful name for  this young Puli.Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Upcoming  Director.

Friendly meal

Last month I attended so many functions that I took a vow to refrain from eating at restaurants this month. I decided I should stick to my pledge at least for 20 days. Things were running smoothly until about the 17th day, when I got a call from a friend who was visiting Bengaluru.

After a few pleasantries were exchanged, I asked to what I owed the honour of his call. He explained that he wanted to celebrate his birthday with me the following day at a restaurant. 

I was unable to dent his request for the friendly meal, although it was a very tough dilemma between the self-promise I had made and a close friend’s special request.

Ex-servicemen have rendered a remarkable service to the nation and they deservr OROP. Similarly senior citizens ,who are not getting pensons,live on meagre interest offered by banks.A decent hike in interest rates should be considered.Both ex-service men and senior citizens are human beings and deserve a better deal.

Kathambari.Today i prepared  Vadai and chatni.Mummy prepared Kesari
Ram.Murthy likes Kesari very much.
Murthy.Yes we often have Satyanarayana pooja in my house.At  that time  my wifeprepares Kesari only.
Vasanthy.Come ,let us go to dining hall.
After finishing the refreshments all came to hall.
Vasanthy. I have fixed a date  next month for the marriage.
Ram.Nice,where is the venue.
Vasanthy.It is Indian    community hall in Dubai.
Ram.Oh Nice hall.
Vasanthy.It will accomodate nearly 500 guests.From India who all the people come from Prasanna side.
Prasanna.Mother only from my side.I do n't have any relatives from my side.
Vasanthy.I see.
Prasanna. I want   Mr Murthy,my managing directorand Mr Raj to attend.
Ram.Good suggestion. i  can ask Mr Atkinsonto apply for visas.
Prasanna.No need sir.I can apply through our company.
Murthy.Proposal is very good.I have to check up with Our MD.Iam confident he will attend the marriage.
Ram.Regarding Raj ,i will inform him today.
Vasanthy.All are my guests and  i will arrange for the air tickets and accomodation.
Ram.Fine.
Vasanthy.I have arranged Purohit   and cook for the wedding.
Ram.On this  i remember the good oldcomedy Story of Washingtonil thirumanam written by a very good writer Chavi now no more. Now Dubaill Prasanna Thirumanam.
Kathambari.What a  great example Ram.i like it

Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from the South Indian Film industry is none other than Rajeev Ravi. He has worked with all top class actors in Tamil,Malayalam and Hindi films.He has also directed two Malayalam movies.He has worked more hindi films as Cinematographer and created a good name in the Bolly wood film industry.Known for his  good frame work both indoor as well out door.I have  seen few movies of this Cinematographer.Those films are Jana,(Tamil)Mumbai Cutting,DevD,Gulaal,Gangs of Wasseypur,, part 1,part 2,Liar's Dice and Chandini Bar,,In his one and half decades film career he has given few remarkable movies.He was bestowed National Film Award for his Cinematography for his film Liar's Dice.Incidently he is from Film and Television Institute Pune where many  today's top class actors    and other technicians are created.Today i am happy to tribute  this Up coming talented Cinematographer,Director.

Tribute to Cinematographer ,Director Nemai Ghosh 363.

Today i remembered another interesting film personality  who has created a big impact in his four decades  film  career is none other than Cinematographer Director Nemai Ghosh.If i remember correct he started his career with famous Late Legend Satyajit Ray.One of the few Cinematographers popular in his indoor frame work is worth to be mentioned here.His contributions of films of various languages  viz ,Bengali,Hindi,Tamil,Kannada (if i am right)  with  noted Directors.He was also awarded merit certificate for his Directorial   work for Pathai theriyuthu Par  tamil  movie.He was associated few films  with Stalwart V.Srinivasan of Muktha Films and Late K.Bala chander .I have seen couple of films of this  doyen.Those films are Neer Kumuzi,Paathai Theriyuthu Par,Chiinamul,Soora vali, few films i could n't recollect.He was applauded for his frame work in Neer Kumuzi.His active movement in Chennai film society is very important. Apart from his film activity he was more attached to labour movementof workers in the film industry.Bengal is known for top class artists,technicians .Incidently this talented technician hails from Bengal.Today i am happy to tribute this talented technician,Director.Even though this Late Cinematographer is not with us his remarkable movies are infront of us.

The Gulf News story about 25 Congress party lawmakers being suspended for five days, was good to read (‘Speaker suspends Congress lawmakers for five days’, Gulf News, August 4). More than a fortnight passed, with a logjam in the Indian Parliament and the opposition parties misbehaving in the House, resulting in the suspension of 25 members. Despite mixed reactions and the ‘Black Day’ comment by Congress party president Sonia Gandhi, I feel the decision taken by the Speaker was good and would help in conducting the House calmly in the future. Politicians should not think the House is a playground for them. I hope in the coming days, the functioning of the Parliament will go smoothly.

Recently, a good friend of mine from the UAE sent me an invitation to attend her daughter’s dance performance in Chennai. I booked my rail ticket in advance to reach the city from Bangalore. On the departure day, however, some unexpected domestic problem cropped up and I had to cancel my ticket. I hold a special value for my friends in the UAE and hence felt quite upset. But well, I had to console myself with the saying, “Man proposes, God disposes.”

The Gulf News story about the need for United Nations (UN) to end its silence on Israeli crimes, was meaningful and thought provoking (‘UN must stop being silent on Israeli crimes’, Gulf News, July 30). After more than six decades, the conflict between Israel and Palestine is continuing and I find this really saddening. The recent attacks resulting in the killing of the young child, and the mosque attack, were unacceptable. Israel continues to commit war crimes and this should be stopped through UN intervention and they must end their silence. Killing innocent civilians should be condemned in any civilised society. Will Israel ever stop?

Today i am going to pen another interesting film personality from Tamil film industry is none other than Cinematographer U.K.Senthilkumar.In his two and half decades career he has given more than forty films is worth to be mentioned here.He was associated with Director Sundar .Cfor many of his movies.Worked with all   top class actors and Directors.His frame work will be more visible both indoor and out door.I have seen  few films of this talented Cinematographer.Those  films are,Karuppu vellai,Ullathai allitha,Murai maman,Metukudi,Arunachalam,Jaanakiraman,Unnai thedi,
Suyamvaram,Azhaagar samy,Kannan varuvan,Rishi,Maaran,Indru,Jore Kodambakkam,Guru En aalu,and few i could n't remember. He has also contributed with many politicians in their election Campaign films.Liked by one and all from the film fraternity.Incidently he hails from the famous textile city Coimbatore.Today i am very happy to tribute this talented Up coming Cinematographer.
