Being involved with social associations or clubs can have a positive influence on one’s life. Recently, I was unable to attend some meetings and my friends were deeply concerned as to why I was absent. I explained to them that due to prior engagement I could not make it for the programmes. I was touched by their concern and it gave me immense joy. Being a senior citizen, it feels great to be treated by friends so warmly.
