Last month I attended so many functions that I took a vow to refrain from eating at restaurants this month. I decided I should stick to my pledge at least for 20 days. Things were running smoothly until about the 17th day, when I got a call from a friend who was visiting Bengaluru.After a few pleasantries were exchanged, I asked to what I owed the honour of his call.
