Letter Published in BM on 11April 19 HAL must probe reason for flaw
K Ragavan writes that our cover story Dhruvastated was a thoughtprovoking one. The pioneer HAL, known for it’s earlier creations, is now facing problems with their Dhruv helicopter. The institute is known for its ALH aircraft, but the trouble with it is shocking. DGCA has instructed the pilots to take precautionary measures. HAL should investigate to know the real reasons for this. Is it due to it being old or does it have any other flaw? Hope HAL will find out and revive the chopper. Safety is the most important aspect as of now.
