Small Story 453 Beautiful Destiny — After their bitter experience with Indigo Airlines Krishna and his family finally reached Trivandrum. They had come to have darshan at the great Ananthapadmanabhaswamy Temple on the auspicious occasion of Krishna’s 80th birthday. His wife Pankajam, son Rajesh, and daughter Radhika, who had flown all the way from Germany, were by his side. They checked into the hotel thoughtfully arranged by the children. After resting for a few hours, the family left for the temple. Krishna’s close friend, a retired bank officer, had arranged for a special darshan. Their visit turned out to be truly divine and memorable. The next day, they travelled to Kanyakumari, where they spent an entire day at the memorial of the great philosopher Narendranath Dutta, popularly known as Swami Vivekananda. The serene surroundings and spiritual atmosphere filled them with peace. On the following day, they boarded the same airline back to Bengaluru—the very airline that had caused them stress earlier due to delays and long hours at the airport. But this time, the journey was smooth. Krishna felt grateful, realizing that their beautiful darshan and safe return had been written in their destiny.
