SmallStory 452.

Small Story 452. Crisis at the Airport Rakesh was in his apartment when he noticed his neighbour Keshav speaking seriously with another neighbour, Vishwa. Moments later, both of them entered his home. “Good morning, Rakesh. Sorry to disturb you at this hour,” said Vishwa with a worried expression. “Two of my relatives—both senior citizens—are stuck at the Mumbai airport today. Indigo flights have been suddenly cancelled due to an unexpected development. They’re both over 70, anxious, and there’s been no proper announcement from the airline about when the flights will resume. It’s not just them; thousands of passengers are waiting helplessly at the airport.” He continued, “You’re the Chief Correspondent of a leading journal. Please bring this issue to the attention of the Aviation Ministry and help get it resolved.” “Certainly,” Rakesh assured him. “I’ve already appealed to the Aviation Ministry and reached out to several magazines. I truly hope this matter is settled amicably.” Hearing this, Vishwa and the other neighbour felt relieved and left peacefully, confident that Rakesh had taken the issue seriously. K.Ragavan 7-12-25
