This is with reference to your news story, ‘India, Brazil and S.Africa, on peace Mission to Syria’ (KT/Aug 10).

The recent ongoing crisis in Damascus and note of casualties make for painful news. I am glad that India, Brazil and South Africa have initiated the peace mission to Damascus for preventing future casualities. I also feel that the UN should intervene to solve this as it has become a major issue . The Syrian people have a right to return to a normal life. Ultimately, peace is the final objective and it must be restored.
