Rain fun

When a friend rang up from the UAE to say about the recent heavy rain there, I was thrilled. I recollected the days when I worked in Sharjah and always prayed for rain. It is always fun to watch children playing in the rain. Back home in India, I am used to hot weather in my city most of the time, and so anyone talking about rain automatically brings a smile in my face and I start singing, “Rain, rain, don’t go away.”
