The Gulf News story about the scores of people who have been killed as a giant crane fell into Makkah Grand Mosque was an accident that took 107 lives and injured 238 (‘Scores killed as ‘giant’ crane falls in Makkah Grand Mosque’, Gulf News, September 13). It was sad and painful to read. The real cause should be found out because despite so many precautions for the pilgrims, this incident still happened. I pray for the victims and for a speedy recovery to all those who were injured.
