If pay is fixed for any job position, should the job responsibilities also be implemented uniformly, regardless of gender?Uniform job responsibilities

When pay is fixed for job positions and responsibilities, gender should not come into the picture. Pay should be uniform for both genders. Both genders should be treated equally. Delivery is important, irrespective of gender. In my opinion, today both men and women are dominating equally in all fields and there should be no difference in pay.
