Australia’s Prime Minister Tony Abbott has been ousted by his party (‘Abbott ousted as Australia PM in a day of high political drama’, Gulf News, September 15). His recent dismissal by Malcolm Turnbull is quite a dramatic development in Australian politics. The policies of the former prime minister were the root cause of his exit. Will the former tech-entrepreneur, Turnbull, bring changes to the Australian people and change their history? We would have to wait and see. Political prowess is not a permanent status anywhere in the world.
