It’s both sad and shameful that people continue to succumb to dengue in the Indian capital (Delhi hospitals struggle against dengue deaths, September 17). The response of hospitals to such emergencies is often lackadaisical, which proves that health care in Delhi is in a poor state.
The Delhi government made so many promises to the people in the past, one of which was that it would improve health care. As usual, those promises proved to be hollow.
