I agree that slacktivism is a myth. Today, social media campaigns are paying more attention to people than ever before. Many campaigns are successful. Social media is more powerful than archaic ways of showing disapproval or frustration. People are uniting and joining together for causes. Today, this is possible because every one is connected through the internet.
