Today i am going to pen another interesting personality from the Tamil Literary world is none other than Writer ,Journalist Vembu Vikraman popularly known as Vikraman. In his younger days he was more interested in hand written magazines and started his own magazine Tamil Chudar acclaimed by the late Kalki KrishnaMurthy ,Rajaji and many.He was more facinated by journalism and started his career with a magazine called Velli Mani.Then he served in Amudasurabi a leading tamil magazine for five decades and created a big impact.He has written many Category of books viz,Short stories for Children,Stories,historical novels of the great three Dynasty kings Chola,Chera,and Pandya's period is worth to be mentioned here.He was bestowed many prestigious awards and honour.
He has travelled many countries like ,Malaysia ,Singa pore,Paris, Dubai, and Rome.Even though he has written many novels,stories i read two very good books ChittiraValli,and Pandyan Magudam some short stories i could n't recollect.My younger days i used to read Amuda Surabi.Eventhough this great writer,Journalist departed ,his books ,novels are in front of us.Today i am happy to tribute this great writer, Journalist.To my little knowledge i am writing this column.If there is any error found can be ignored.
