K Ragavan has responded to ‘A Miyawaki forest for school children, saying it was heartening to read that the gesture of 800 nature lovers has taken flower. About 5,500 saplings of 96 species is indeed a laudable result. Their intention is to create an atmosphere like Japanese Miyawaki forest. Bengaluru is known for many gestures like this from organisations, techies and many people who genuinely care for the nature.
