Amazing Four years.
Today, I fondly recollect my meeting with Mr. Swaminathan and Mr. Ayyakutty in Chennai, four years ago, at a restaurant. We spent more than an hour together before departing. Before leaving, both of them shared the happy news about our Madurai Veerans Group and invited me to rejoin my old Madurai pharma colleagues who had worked in Madurai during 1967–1978. This truly made me very happy.
Since then, I have attended two meetings and gradually grown closer to my old colleagues, even though I left Madurai in 1978 and moved away permanently in 1993. Over these past four years, I have thoroughly enjoyed the group postings and witnessed the many talents of our good old colleagues—such as Gnanachandran, the amazing professor, Ramnath, the great whistler and singer, and many others whom I deeply admire.
With my limited knowledge, I have been writing short stories and sharing thoughts on various topics. I continue to do so because of the encouragement, appreciation, and motivation I receive from our group members. If I am right in believing so, it has given me the confidence to improve my delivery every day.
I take this opportunity to convey my advance wishes to all our members and their families.
Wishing everyone a very happy, healthy, and prosperous Pongal.
With warm regards,
K. Ragavan
